Due-diligence and KYB signals for UK-registered companies, built for autonomous agents. Resolve a company by name or Companies House number, then get its live registry profile (status, type, incorporation date, SIC codes, filing deadlines), a compliance verdict with transparent markers (overdue accounts, overdue confirmation statement, Gazette insolvency notices in the last 365 days, open insolvency cases, public-contract awards), and the provenance-bearing evidence documents behind each signal (source URI, retrieval time, SHA-256). Coverage: every company on the Companies House register (England & Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland); evidence documents for companies on our continuously monitored watchlist. Profiles are fetched live on each call. A compliance signal from public registries, not legal or credit advice: "clear" means no adverse signal was found.

## Payment
x402 v2, scheme exact, USDC on Base mainnet (eip155:8453). An unpaid request returns HTTP 402 with a PAYMENT-REQUIRED header; resend with PAYMENT-SIGNATURE. A successful call returns a PAYMENT-RESPONSE header. Failed calls (4xx/5xx) are never settled.

## Authentication
No API key or account with us. Payment is the only credential.

## Limits
10 calls/minute per payer, typical 800 ms, max 10000 ms, synchronous responses.

## Errors
- 400 invalid_input (retryable: no) — A parameter failed validation (e.g. malformed company number).
- 402 payment_required (retryable: yes) — No or invalid x402 payment; the PAYMENT-REQUIRED header carries the price.
- 404 not_found (retryable: no) — No company with that number, or no candidate matched.
- 429 rate_limited (retryable: yes) — Per-payer or upstream registry budget exhausted; honour Retry-After.
- 502 upstream_error (retryable: yes) — The registry or our evidence store failed; retry later.
- 504 upstream_timeout (retryable: yes) — The registry did not answer in time; retry later.
